Every kit is ranked by real cost per gigabyte (£/GB) — its current Amazon.co.uk price divided by its total capacity. A 2x8GB kit counts as 16GB, not 8GB. We never rank by commission, popularity, or brand.

Why price per GB instead of just the price?

Where does the price data come from, and how fresh is it?

Prices and price history come from Keepa, which tracks Amazon.co.uk pricing continuously. Our catalogue refreshes daily; every product page shows its own price history and how many days old that history is.

A RAM kit I want isn't on the site — why?

We track a large slice of Amazon's UK memory category but not literally everything, and we deliberately exclude listings that aren't actual memory modules — whole PCs, flash drives, memory-card readers and the like that Amazon's category listing sometimes turns up alongside real RAM. If a genuine kit seems to be missing, let us know.

What does 'Amazon Warehouse' mean on the price-drops page?
