ramprices.uk is an independent UK price-comparison site for computer memory (RAM) — desktop DIMMs, laptop SO-DIMMs, across DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5. Our single goal is to help you find genuinely good-value RAM by ranking every kit on the one number that actually matters when you're buying capacity: the real cost per gigabyte (£/GB).
For each RAM kit we take its current Amazon.co.uk price and divide it by its total capacity in gigabytes — a 2x8GB kit counts as 16GB total, not 8GB. A 16GB kit at £40 works out at £2.50/GB; an 8GB single stick at £26 is £3.25/GB — so even though the single stick is cheaper to buy, the kit is better value per gigabyte you actually get.
Pricing and price history are sourced from Keepa, a long-established Amazon price-tracking service.
